Sunday School

April 6 – JESUS CLEANSES THE TEMPLE // Isaiah 56:6-7, Jeremiah 7:9-11, Mark 11:15-19

Lesson Aim: You will explore the importance of keeping worship from becoming a mindless activity; understand the danger of losing our passion for things we habitually do for God; and employ ways to remember that God’s house is first and foremost a house of prayer.

April 13 – A MESSAIANIC PRIEST-KING // Jeremiah 23:5-6; Zechariah 6:9-14; John 19:1-5

Lesson Aim: Your destiny is a humble one; and u will observe how Jesus’ humility amid suffering fulfilled prophecies made about Him; trust that we will become all that God has ordained is to be, even if the road to our destiny is a humble one; and pray for strength to endure when things don’t appear as God has promised.

April 20THE THIRD DAY // Hosea 6:13; Luke 24:1-12

Lesson Aim: We will review the miraculous story of the Resurrection; explore the possible feelings and emotions of those who discovered the empty tomb; and list ways to share the glorious Gospel message in our everyday lives.

April 27FROM SUFFERING TO GLORY // Isaiah 53:5-8; Luke 24:25-27, 44-47

Lesson Aim: You will explore the story of Jesus’ meeting the two travelers after His Resurrection; trust that we will find meeting in things that we don’t understand through Christ; and develop creative new ways to explain the meaning of Jesus’ Resurrection on others.

April 20DEVELOP A VICTOR MENTALITY // 1 Samuel 30:1-8

Lesson Aim: To share how overcomes of discouragement must develop a victor mentality instead of a victim mentality.
