Lessons for the Month of March
March 2 – AN ETERNAL KINGDOM // 2 Samuel 7:4-16a (KJV)
Lesson Aim: By the end of the lesson, you will: Recognize the significance of making god a major part of planning an inheritance of or descendants; feel the need to keep trusting God even when he denies our requests; and decide to seek God’s heart and to be in his presence.
March 9 – SON OF DAVID // Psalm 89:35-37; Isaiah 9:6-7, Matthew 1:18-21 (KJV)
Lesson Aim: By the end of the lesson you will: explain how your personal decisions can benefit or negatively affect our lives and the lives of others; find comfort in knowing that God’s promises to us don’t expire; and plan to live for a higher purpose as a selfless act for God and for generations to come.
March 16 – PETER’S REPORT // Psalm 110:1-4; Acts 2:22-24, 29-32 (KJV)
Lesson Aim: By the end of the lesson you will: discuss the importance of being people of our word; find comfort in knowing that no matter how tough things may get, God will keep His word for our lives; and share what we’ve learned about God’s faithfulness to encourage others in tough times.
March 23 – WORTHY IS THE LAMB // Revelation 5:6-13 (KJV)
Lesson Aim: By the end of the lesson you will: recognize that the God-given unlimited power believers possesses is linked to the total submission to His will; trust that even while living a life of obedience to God, troubles will come; and decide to worship and praise God continuously, with zeal, through all life’s situations.
March 30 – TRIUMPHANT AND VICTORIOUS // Zechariah 9:9; Matthew 21:1-11 (KJV)
Lesson Aim: By the end of the lesson you will: explain why so many gathers to acknowledge Jesus as Lord and King; Express a willingness to always honor Jesus through our everyday actions; and repent of the times when we have not given Jesus the honor due to Him.

March 9 – UNDERSTANDING WHY // Psalm 42:5-11
Lesson Aim of this lesson: is to help believers understand why they are discouraged when they get discouraged.
March 16 – WATCH YOUR MOUTH // Numbers 21:4-6
Lesson Aim of this lesson: is to caution Saints to watch what they say when they get discouraged.
March 23 – CRY, BUT DONT BE A CRY BABY // 1 Samuel 30:1-8
Lesson Aim of this lesson: is to encourage people dealing with discouragement to cry their last tear.
March 30 – ENCOURAGE YOURSELF // 1 Samuel 30:1-8
Lesson Aim of this lesson: is to show how the discouraged can overcome discouragement by simply encouraging themselves in the Lord.

Food For Thought: ” Answered prayers serve dual purposes. They bless us or others, and they further the kingdom of God in the same way.
March 14 – A MINISTRY OF REPENTANCE // Isaiah 40:3; Luke 1:80; Matthew 3:1-3
Food For Thought: Though there are many ways to achieve it, our ministry is simply to prepare people for the return of the Lord.
March 21 – HUMBLE BUT EXTRAORDINARY MINISTRY // Matthew 3:4-6; Mark 1:4-9
Food For Thought: Sin can prevent us from hearing from God. Lack of Humility can prevent other from hearing us.
March 28 – HIS POPULARITY // John 1:19-28
Food For Thought: We have the responsibility to make sure the message that is being taught is true. We also have the privilege of being corrected by God’s message when we are wrong.
